A lean-into-green moment that feeds and fuels, both the Dragon Bowl and the Tahini Dragon Sauce are wholesome, clean eats. It’s bright, earthy, crunchy, and deeply satisfying—built around roasted sweet potatoes, wild rice, crisp vegetables, and a creamy tahini-based Dragon Sauce that ties the whole bowl together.
The magic here is balance. It’s always balance. Playing the warm, caramelized sweet potatoes against cool cucumber and radish. Nutty wild rice anchors the bowl, while shredded cabbage and fresh sprouts bring lift and texture. And then there’s the Dragon Sauce: savoury, lemony, slightly garlicky, and rich with nutritional yeast – adding depth and umami flavour – without dairy, soy, or gluten.

A Clean, Plant-Based Bowl That Actually Satisfies
This is a year-round bowl. It works as a light reset meal, a meal-prep hero, or a base for endless variations. Add avocado, swap grains, roast different vegetables—it holds its own every time. Clean eating, but make it both power packed AND joyful.
How to Make A Dragon Bowl
Why I Love It
Because it proves that “healthy” doesn’t have to be boring, and ‘green’ doesn’t always have to be ‘green’. It can be orange and purple. It’s packed with nutrients, wildly adaptable, and the sauce alone is worth keeping in your fridge on repeat. In fact, I doubled the recipe for you, so you’d have extra.
Plus it’s power-packed! The salad base is vegan, using this blend of spouts – lentil, pea, chickpea & adzuki – it has over 4.5g protein. That’s a significant amount of easily digestible, vegetable protein.

Tahini Dragon Sauce: Creamy, Savory, and Dairy-Free
The tahini vinaigrette, AKA: Dragon Sauce, is a dense source of plant-based protein (about 3-5g per tablespoon), fiber (1-2g), and is heavily fortified with B vitamins—especially B12—plus iron, and trace minerals like zinc. Look for it in the natural foods section at your local supermarket, or your nearest health food store. It’s also a great dry topping for vegetables, raw or roasted.
