This is a recipe I’ve tweaked and tinkered with a dozen times in attempts to make it super fancy, to no avail. Sometimes it’s best to stick with the original recipe, however humble, such is the case for Mom’s Chocolate Pudding Cake. There’s no taste like home.

A little twist on a French classic, Cherry Clafoutis with White Chocolate made with the last of the summer cherries, the swan song of summer. It won’t be long before we’re awash with pumpkins and apples as the kids head back to school and sweaters emerge from storage. But let’s not talk about that, let’s stay with summer a little bit longer and chat about cherries.

Rich, decadent Chocolate Cherry Brownies, gooey in the middle, with a tart cherry surprise. Made with pure butter, chocolate, dried sour cherries, cocoa & sugar… I’m sure there’s no calories in these.

The Devil’s Food Salted Caramel Cupcakes we whipped up a week ago for a certain three year old’s birthday. So good we had offers of indentured servitude in exchange for more, here’s the recipe!

An overwhelming desire for the taste of orange and chocolate lead me down the slippery slope of recipe development creating a deep, dark and delicious Chocolate Orange Chiffon Cake that thrilled neighbors and crushed that craving. (The neighbors love it when I bake!)

Smooth, dark and super rich, this Chocolate Espresso Truffle Cake is a slab of pure chocolate heaven. It’s also flourless so there’s no pesky carbohydrates, and it’s gluten free. Just a few simple ingredients you probably already have: butter, sugar, chocolate, espresso and eggs, it’s temptation in it’s purest form. You’ve been warned.

This promises to be very bad for your diet. Gingerbread Hot Chocolate made in the French style with cream, coca and real chocolate to make it rich and thick. Then for some seasonal fun we’ve spiced it up to give you a little kick of ginger.

This time of year I love a warm scone, fresh from the oven. Perfect with a nice hot cup of tea on a late fall day. Lemon scones are among my favorites; adding cranberry and white chocolate. Light, fragrant, not too sweet; perfect for the girls on a Sunday afternoon or as a hostess gift during the holidays.

The Chef in my life, was my first soufflé. He makes it look so easy. So we’re tasking Food Gypsy Technical Advisor, Chef Benoit Gelinotte, to give us his best tips so you can soufflé like you’ve never souffléd before this holiday season. Starting with a little sugar and spice – the Chipotle Chocolate Soufflé.

If you’re going to commandeer Halloween candy, there should be some kind of plan for later usage that the whole family can enjoy. Like making cookies! Caramel Mars Bar Cookies are popular with kids of all ages especially when we super-size then and make COLOSSAL COOKIES; cookies that eat like a meal.

This is a cake that takes time, patience and effort. Therefore I only make my Double Dark Chocolate Raspberry Cake for those who will not just appreciate, but worship it. It is only fitting for one of nature’s most perfect foods.
